Yacht Operation Management
The operation of a large yacht is a complex business which is why Bodrum Marine Services Yacht Management can offer a comprehensive service to yacht owners and crew that is dedicated to reducing the burden of yacht ownership and operation.
The Captain is the ultimate authority in all matters on board, and this is reinforced at all times by an experienced land-based management team to ensure that the yacht is run safely, efficiently, cost-effectively and in full compliance with international regulations.
BMS offers a service tailored to the needs of the individual yacht covering every aspect of the day-to-day running of the yacht: financial administration, operational and technical support, payment of accounts, crew placement, shipyard work estimates, supervision and purchase of new equipment, ISM (International Safety Management) and ISPS (International Ship and Port Security) legislation requirements where applicable and 24-hour emergency response provision.
The BMS Yacht Management team is led by a core group of skilled professionals with extensive industry experience, as captains, crew, surveyors, project managers and repair specialists. They offer a simple and realistic, no-nonsense approach to yacht management designed to maximise the owner’s enjoyment of his yacht and its commercial potential.
BMS works on a fixed fee, negotiated annually and paid monthly in advance, and accepts no commissions on its own behalf. Regular visits are paid to the managed yachts, wherever in the world they may be operating, and in the event of any crisis, BMS will take full and immediate responsibility to return the yacht to service as soon as possible.
